Selling your Pearson?

I just received an email from William H Shaw, Jr with New England Yacht Partners. If you're looking for a broker to sell your Pearson you probably couldn't find anyone more knowledgeable on all things Pearson.

"If you find any owners looking to sell their 422's I would be pleased to help them.  As these boats are difficult to come by, I would be delighted to have one in my listing base.  And, as you can see by name, I know these boats very well.  I like your owners site very much and my late father would be happy to know that his variant of this  design is still desired by today's cruising yachtsmen. It would be something to find the old tooling an reproduce these venerable beauties using modern day boat building materials and techniques."

Saelyn Grima is For Sale - SOLD

Asking Price: $79,500 SOLD
Boat Name: Saelyn Grima

SAELYN GRIMA is currently in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Huge ground tackle. 700 engine hours. Huge aft cabin. Good in light airs. 422s are the rare center cockpit cousin of the 424s. Many have circumnavigated, and this boat has sailed the Black Sea, the west coast of Africa, and been on multiple Caribbean tours.

They are moderate displacement boats, and will move in light airs when heavy displacement boats are motoring. Yet, unlike many of today's light displacement boats, she is strong. The hull to deck joint is glassed, instead of simply bolted. The hull and keel are integral. The rudder is skeg hung.

This boat has beautiful wood paneling throughout. She has six four standing headroom, which makes her feel open. In addition, the dinning table has been made convertible so it can stow in the aft cabin hallway. This creates a huge open living space in the living room, with the nav desk part of the work space.

In many other center cockpits this size you have to duck to get into the aft cabin, while this boat has standing headroom. In addition, the work space in the hallway is very functional.

Welcome s/v Blissopia!

A note from Dylan & Monika:

"We are the new owners of Hull # 37 “Blissopia” (formerly Déjà vu).
She is currently in the Great South Bay of Long Island NY and next year we will move her to her new home port in Staten Island.
We plan on many adventures from there including a circumnavigation in the near future.
She is a beautiful boat in gorgeous condition thanks to her previous owners Parker and Debby Revella who took such great care of her." Welcome to the group!
