Interesting to know that Hull #2 is at Pier 39. We’ve never seen another Pearson 422 on this side of the U.S. or in Mexico for that matter. Tim and I purchased her in 1999. In 2001 we spent three months exploring the Channel Islands in Southern California.
In 2003 we did the Baja Haha down the coast from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas and spent the year of 2003-2004 in the Sea of Cortez. She is a three-time veteran of this trip to Mexico, all with different owners now. We returned to Alameda in 2004 and continued to live-aboard in total for ten years, moving off in 2009."

MAYA (WIND DANCER II) cutter rig

August 2016: After some delays due to career and family Skip finally re-launched after seven years on the hard. The boat was properly renamed and rechristened.  New name Maya. Still have a lot of little details to finish up but the boat is now in sailable condition.   Hope to be cruising in a couple of months.
March 2011: On the hard for a full overhaul and new name to be determined. Owner Skip MacElhannon is in Gainesville Florida and the boat is in the woods just outside Alachua FL (about 5 miles from the Hunter boats plant).   Bottom shaved and starting epoxy barrier coat soon.  All new standing rigging including new chainplates and Harken roller furling will to go on at launch time. Wind Daner II has the original Westerbeke engine and is reported to run great after Skip motored all the way from New England to FL.

    PROVIDENCE

Providence has been their home for almost 2 years now and they have put 4,094 NM on her.  Presently she is in Mobile, AL.  while they prepare for their 3rd cruising season.
    Note from the owners:
We purchased her in Rock Hall, Maryland.  She has a dark blue hull.  In Marathon Florida, we added solar panels (2 @ 135 watts).  Her home port is New Bern, North Carolina.  Last year in Mobile we added autohelm.  This year because we have a vibration problem we must remove our Westerbeak 58 to rebuild the engine mount pan (open to any helpful comments).  Other projects recently completed, replaced both heads, water pump, installed a 21,000 btu ac in the  front, replaced the house battery bank with 3 lifeline 4 D's, etc"

    CREWS INN

Owned by Ilene and Len Karnow home port of Cataumet, Ma.  They have owned the boat since 1998 and sail the coastal waters from Maine to New York.   Their home is located in North Falmouth, MA,  Cape Cod.
Len has replaced the original Westerbeke W58 engine with a Westerbeke 64A during the winter of 2007.  He removed the old engine and installed the new one himself.  The project became quite a task because of the engine location under the cockpit and the size of the hatch.  The hatch size required taking parts off the new engine to reduce is size.
A new mainsail was purchased in 2011 and a new headsail in 2009.  The canvas for total enclosure of the cockpit was replaced in 2008.  The enclosure keeps them warm in the early spring in New England and dry during rainstorms.
