The Mystery of Hull 19

A few more owners have come forth and have been added to the OWNERS page. Welcome!

One of our new-found owners (of hull 19) noticed that we already had a hull 19 listed as a later model year. Does anyone know what happened here? Please leave comments below to help solve the mystery of hull 19!

Hull Number 7

Congratulations to Greg Long as the new owner of hull #7 Paperbird - formerly Phoenix.  They just purchased her from Houston TX and relocated her to Annapolis MD.  They are doing some updating of equipment and rigging and then will be sailing her on the Chesapeake for a couple years and are unsure beyond that.  They love to hear from other owners about recommended upgrades/projects.  A couple particular areas of interest are modifying the anchor locker to hold more chain and 2 rodes and adding a shelf to the engine room. They would love to connect with other owners in the Chesapeake Bay! See the owners' page for his contact info.

It's been great to see Greg start some lively discussions in the forum!

More owners found!

We just heard from Patrick and Darnell Aguillard from Lake Charles, Louisiana. They have owned hull number three, Island Dream, since July of 2006 and are planning to take her to the Dominican Republic for the summer of 2011.  Welcome to the owners group!

I encourage all owners to take a look at the discussion board to help Patrick and Darnell with some maintenance questions!

Owner Question: Determining Hull Lay-up Location

I just received a question from Captain Shirley aboard Empress who is wondering if anyone knows how to determine where her boat was built by the numbers? She would like to find a contact that can help be find and prove where the hull was laid up. Her hull number is PEA 750 38 H 687. Please leave comments below.
